The Challenge

Developing robotic arms for industrial and research purposes is often costly and requires advanced hardware. The goal of this project was to design a simple, low-cost robotic arm with servo motors that could perform basic manipulations, providing an accessible platform for learning and experimentation.

The Solution

This robotic arm is controlled using servo motors and programmed microcontrollers, enabling precise movement and object manipulation.

  • 5-Axis Motion Control: The robotic arm can move in multiple directions for greater flexibility.
  • Servo Motor Control: Provides precise positioning and smooth movement.
  • Programmable Actions: Can be customized for different tasks, such as picking and placing objects.
  • Compact & Affordable Design: Built with readily available components, making it accessible for educational and hobbyist use.

The Result

The robotic arm successfully demonstrated basic object manipulation, proving to be an effective tool for education, automation experiments, and robotics training. Future improvements could include AI-based movement optimization and integrating computer vision for enhanced automation.
